Hemet Adult School (HAS) offers a High School Diploma Program and GED/HiSET preparation classes.  These programs are conducted at the HAS campus Monday through Thursday from 1:45 pm to 8:00 pm. Students are encouraged to attend regularly in order to complete courses in a timely manner.  In-Class Study requires all academic hours and course work be completed on campus.  Credit requirements to earn a HAS diploma and participate in the graduation ceremonies are as follows:

Social Studies 30

Science 20

Fine Arts/Language 10

Hemet Adult School is currently offering, CTE/Welding Class and Citizenship Classes on campus.

Independent Study

HAS also offers an Independent Study High School Diploma Program.  Students complete course work off campus and meet with the Instructor once a week on a mutually agreed upon day and time.  


Adults interested in the In-Class or Independent Study Diploma programs will need an official transcript from the last school attended.  Transcripts must be presented prior to setting an appointment with our Counselor and enrolling in our programs. Enrollment is open year round.
